Daredevil (Netflix) Season 3

So the Daredevil series. I wasn’t a big comic book fan of his but he always showed up with some of the characters I liked. So I was familiar with the origin and a bit with the Frank Miller series as well. I jump in on the 3rd season even though I seen them all as they released. I go over it on my own because of my Marvel obsession and how i follow almost anything  is released of Marvel Characters.  Here's my thoughts.

"Daredevil" follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil to fight crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. While Murdock's day job requires him to believe in the criminal justice system, his alter ego does not follow suit, leading him to take the law into his own hands to protect his Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities

Tom Clancy's - Jack Ryan (Amazon)

So for the last couple of days I sat down and watched three of 5 Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan movies. To prepare me for the Amazon series “Jack Ryan”. I wanted to have a perspective before I started watching the series in case there was an unconscience bias about the character and the stories.

Author Tom Clancy introduced the character of Jack Ryan in a series of books before Ryan headed to the big screen in several films. Now the former U.S. Marine is featured in an episodic series for the first time, with John Krasinski portraying Ryan in this Amazon original thriller that centers on Ryan as an up-and-coming CIA analyst. He is thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time and uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication. That launches him into the middle of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale

Iron Fist Season 2 (Netflix)

Alicia and I were very skeptical about this second season of Ironfist. So we were in no rush to sit down and watch it. Luckily it was only 10 episodes. So we checked it and out prior to this. This Marvel Netflix series was the worst of the bunch. Now we have something to really talk about. Thanks to new directors, writers and choreographers. We see a pretty good series.

The second season of the American web television series Iron Fist, which is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, follows Danny Rand / Iron Fist, a martial arts expert with the ability to call upon the power of the Iron Fist

Ant-Man and the Wasp (Marvel)

You all ready know, Alicia and I are marvel fans (not fanatics, I'm board line) so we had to go see the sequel to the Ant-Man first movie.  We enjoyed it and thought it was worthy for a sequel with the anticipation of The Wasp being premiered in the sequel so here we are on the premier weekend.

Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices as both a superhero and a father. Approached by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym, Lang must once again don the Ant-Man suit and fight alongside the Wasp. The urgent mission soon leads to secret revelations from the past as the dynamic duo finds itself in an epic battle against a powerful new enemy

Sicario : Day of the Soldado

Alicia and I sit down with great anticipation to see the sequel to the critically acclaimed Sicario released 3 years ago from my favorite director Denis Villeneuve and the original screenplay writer by Taylor Sheridan.  This new version is very intense and a bit more stereotyped and US policy driven but something we do discuss minus the negative portrayals of the Mexican people.

FBI agent Matt Graver calls on mysterious operative Alejandro Gillick when Mexican drug cartels start to smuggle terrorists across the U.S. border. The war escalates even further when Alejandro kidnaps a top kingpin's daughter to deliberately increase the tensions. When the young girl is seen as collateral damage, the two men will determine her fate as they question everything that they are fighting for

Jurassic World (The Fallen Kingdom)

Since Alicia is so much of a dinosaur fan, We had to go see Jurassic world on the release week.  This is the third iteration of the Jurassic series and the second part of the Jurassic world series.  Looking forward to another fun and exciting Jurassic movie we go in very excited.

Three years after the destruction of the Jurassic World theme park, Owen Grady and Claire Dearing return to the island of Isla Nublar to save the remaining dinosaurs from a volcano that's about to erupt. They soon encounter terrifying new breeds of gigantic dinosaurs, while uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire planet

Lost in Space reboot (Netflix)

We took the time the other night and watched the rebooted series "Lost in Space".  Netflix rebooted this series and made it into something totally new (with a little references from the old 1965 series).  Family dynamics, Girl power in lead roles and an interesting concept to possibly a very interesting series.

It's 30 years in the future and the family has been chosen to start a new life in a space colony. On the way to what they believe will be a better world, the Robinsons' ship is abruptly thrown off course and they are thrown into a dangerous alien environment. Stranded with the Robinsons are unsettlingly charismatic Dr. Smith and inadvertently charming Don West, two outsiders who are thrown together by circumstance and a mutual knack for deception

Ready Player One (the movie)

Alicia and I start to jump into our Summer movies by checking out Spielberg's movie, video game virtual reality extravaganza.  The big hype is the visuals and the iconic images from the past showing up in the movie but we see if this was just another Hunger games technical upgrade.

From filmmaker Steven Spielberg comes the science fiction action adventure “Ready Player One,” based on Ernest Cline’s bestseller of the same name. The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse. But the people have found salvation in the OASIS, an expansive virtual reality universe created by the brilliant and eccentric James Halliday (Mark Rylance). When Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world. When an unlikely young hero named Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) decides to join the contest, he is hurled into a breakneck, reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical universe of mystery, discovery and danger
