CODE documentary exposes the dearth of female and minority software engineers and explores the reasons for this gender gap and digital divide. The film highlights breakthrough efforts that are producing more diverse programmers and shows how this critical gap can be closed. CODE asks: what would society gain from having more women and people of color code, and how do we get there?

Voice activated personal assistants or intelligent personal assistant

This session we talk about the ever growing personal assistants trend.  There are many out on the market but the 3 major companies that stand out are Apple's Siri, Amazon's Alexa and Google assistant.  Sadly I have to throw in Microsoft Cortana too. With our hands on these 3 items, we give our 4 cents to the discussion of what we see as the leading candidate with this growing voice activating trend.
